How do I change my email address?

The business you are interacting with uses Hype to manage user profiles. To update the email address for your profile:

  1. Log into your Hype account at account.hype.co.
  2. Navigate to the contact information section within account settings.
  3. Click on Change email address next to the email address and follow the on-screen instructions.

How do I change my password?

The business you are interacting with uses Hype to manage user profiles. To change your password:

  1. Navigate to account.hype.co. If you’re not already logged in, you will be sent a one-time passcode to log in.
  2. Click on your profile photo in the top-right corner to navigate to your account settings.
  3. Complete the Update Password section and press Change password.
Note: The password you set for your Hype account is used across all profiles currently connected to your account.

Why isn’t my payment going through?

If you see a “422” error while attempting to make a payment, it means there was an issue authorizing your card for the transaction. To fix this:

  1. Check that your card information was entered correctly.
  2. Check that the account associated with your card has sufficient funds.
  3. If the above is true, but you are still seeing an error, try using a different card.

Why can’t I see my subscription?

The business you are interacting with uses Hype to manage profiles and payments. To view and make changes to your subscription, log in to your Hype account at account.hype.co.

If you do not see any paid subscription associated with your profile, it’s possible you have subscribed to the business’s mailing list multiple times using different email addresses. If so, make sure you are logging in with the email associated with your paid subscription.

How do I update my payment method?

The business you are interacting with uses Hype to manage profiles and payments. To update the payment method for a recurring payment:

  1. Log into your Hype account at account.hype.co.
  2. Click the three dots next to the account name at the top of the page.
  3. Select Change subscription.
  4. In the payment box on the right side of the screen, click Use a different card under the current payment method.
  5. Enter the new card information and click on the Add card button. The new card will now appear below the original card number.
  6. Click on Make default below the new card. A gray DEFAULT label should now appear next to your new payment method.

How do I cancel a subscription or recurring donation?

The business you are interacting with uses Hype to manage profiles and payments. To cancel a subscription or recurring donation:

  1. Log into your Hype account at account.hype.co.
  2. Click the three dots next to the account name at the top of the page.
  3. Under the Communication section, select the Cancel subscription button.
  4. The account page will automatically update to show a CANCELED label next to the subscription or recurring donation. The access end date will also be listed here.

How can I request a refund?

The business you are interacting with uses Hype to manage profiles and payments. Each business sets its own refund policy. To see if you can get a refund, visit the business’s website for more information or contact their support. You can find their support email when viewing your profile at account.hype.co.

How do I delete my Hype account?

To delete your Hype account:

  1. Log into the Hype account at account.hype.co.
  2. Click on your profile photo in the top-right corner to navigate to your account settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click on Delete account.
Note: You must cancel all paid subscriptions associated with your account before you can delete your account.
